When the ray of light shrinks, shall cold winter nights, begin

If you get the reference to the song in the title without looking it up then I might marry you (maybe). The most beautiful song ever written of all time.

I have spent the whole of this weekend writing to do lists and no I am not even sorry

If you want to judge me I'm afraid you have to have AuDHD, as badly as I do, and be dealing with all the other stuff I have dealt with recently.

Python to-dos 🐍🐍

I love courses but they stress me out. I can't stand the pressure. But I enjoy them.

And in hindsight I will miss them.

I probably need to take a deep breath and to relax. And to try and be enjoying it more.

It will be over soon enough.

Here are my remaining to-dos:

In Intermediate Python (Finish the rest of the course):

  • Generators
    • Only the project
  • Sets
    • Lesson
    • Quiz
  • Collections
    • Lesson
    • Quiz
  • Sets and Collections
    • Combined project
  • Resource management
    • Lesson
    • Quiz
    • Project
And then I will be done with the intermediate Python course! Omg.

In Advanced Python (I'm just going to be completing two modules):

  • Logging
    • Article
    • Lesson
    • Project
    • Quiz
  • Database Operations
    • Lesson
    • Project
    • Quiz

Recordings I need to listen back to

I record nearly all of my calls especially my technical calls.
  • Listen back to a few minutes at the end of my session on clients and servers on 28/10
  • Listen back to the ending of my call on 25/10 on the yield keyword
  • Listen back to my problem solving lesson which is like 45 minutes long on 1/11
  • Use the code we wrote together with it side by side together

Blog posts or something that I need to write

  • My next blog post after this is a special one
  • I want to write at least two blog posts on the notes that I took from a spontaneous talk my senior gave me about problem solving
  • Other than that just the Python ones - the train ones, the Thursday morning ones - all the other ones are optional
  • I don't usually plan LI posts but wanna do the one on yields - see above.
A woman walks down a cliff in a starry sky. text reads "how lucky i am to have something i love this much."

Important Stuff Related to Work

  • Finish evidencing behaviours for this week
  • Find backend examples of code I don't understand (APIs stuff, HTTP stuff)
  • Share an incident report

Work Stuff

  • Agree on approach to 1 bug
  • Confirm the existence and next steps of bug 2
  • Have session on HTTP stuff - see above

Other

  • Could just let it go but wanted to write a very specific type of journal entry - again I very rarely plan these, if ever at all - in fact never - never ever
Thank you.
