Revising Water Tech, Part II

Revising Water Tech, Part II

Water is like renewable energy - it needs to be handled in real time.

I always say and I will say again - no human being can ever hold in mind all of the different factors that need to be taken into account to make the best real time decisions about data all at once.

Making the right kinds of real-time decision can improve water quality, save water, reduce energy consumption and better cater to supply and demand. The need will go up as water scarcity increases.

Managing Water Networks Better

My blog posts talk about managing water networks better but I still don't know what this really means.

Spotting faults before they even arise could be very powerful. AI can help us improve asset management through predictive maintenance.

Damage to infrastructure tends to get worse in time and I can help us to spot this. Quicker fixes mean lower water losses.

Water loss is one of the biggest concerns of our time. This also reduces supply downtime.

This reduces costs, risks from customers

I got so absorbed in writing this article that I burned my cooking and it was so worth it

Personal Notes, Again

I miss Leeds. I miss watching the sun come down as we walked down the hill from the Uni. I miss those delicious Planthood meals my sister and I cooked together. (Er... she mostly cooked... I lay on the bed. I did crush some chickpeas though). I miss the Uni campus and all of the spaces I didn't get to explore.

I miss the beautiful canteen.

I miss meeting students and feeling young again. Haha. I went to the computer science building and realised there was nothing for me there.

I did something cooler than a computer science degree in that I am actually building the real thing.
