Use Your Passion

Lady Gaga's new song is her best ever. I have been a fan for half my life - since she came on the scene. I have passed my probation - my immense passion carried me through one of the hardest times of my life - and now I want to figure out where do I go from here. Water research.

Day job. Working day to day. Growing as a software engineer. Dancing. Wherever my life takes me next from here - and I don't know what my next great challenge will be - I hope that I will dance. I don't know what my next story will be, but I will hope that I will dance. And so if you have a wish that you can make for me - make a wish that I can dance, dance, dance.

But I know what the next story of my life will be. I want to finally give back to the water. I want to take care of what I love the most. This planet and this earth.

So I hope my water research takes me further. I would like to make this blog be only water posts but I need it to learn.

I need it to grow and vent sometimes, too.

So here is the plan:
  • I want to continue to do my water research discovery posts on here
  • I want to post long form water posts - either on another blogspot blog or on medium or on somewhere else e.g. substack but I have always found substack difficult to use somehow
  • I am going to be doing some water tech blog posts for work...

But really I just want to dance. When I see my future, I see dance. Let me see where this water tech takes me though.

Yosemite I'll never forget the first time I head the song Yosemite by Lana del Rey. I very nearly clicked away.  It was quite near the start of my Software Engineering journey, right near when I start learning the Front-End/Web Development. I was listening to Arcadia by LDR before, maybe twice, and then Blue Banisters came on. I nearly clicked away in the first 30 seconds but I forced myself to keep listening anyway.  I'll never forget how that song has made me feel. It became my song of 2022 even though I only discovered it in November. I can still listen to it every day and get that complete sense of wonder and of awe that I felt the first time that I heard it. That ending of the song is completely amazing, and it just completely just blows me away every time. Where To Hide A Star I haven’t read this book but I just saw this title of a forthcoming children’s book on the train and so I wanted to write a blog post based off of this as well. The last six months have been… rewarding and fulfilling. I have managed to make all of my dreams come true and to defy expectations,  Sometimes the best place to hide is in plain sight and if you reread all of my blogs over the last six months (all 200 of them) you would know exactly what I’m struggling at work and what was going on. And why. But I’ve managed to overcome most of my challenges. Neurodiversity. Being very new in the field relative to the expectations of the job. Being in a new workplace environment.
